Our Guiding Principles

Streetlight Tucson is a Christian ministry that encourages broad cooperation among God’s people—a unity of spirit, not organizational union.  Instead of arrogantly assuming we have all the answers, we seek to collaborate with those of other faiths as well as those having no belief in God—a unity of goals, not of spiritual/theological beliefs.

While Streetlight Tucson promotes unity in addressing common goals, we do not expect diverse groups to hide their religious convictions.  We believe that by working together we can better understand each other and our unique beliefs.  We are a Christ-centered ministry, seeking to operate in the power of his Spirit and sharing him as an integral part of all that is done—not simply giving a cup of cold water, but doing it in Jesus’ name.
